Two Plans for Safety Compliance

ONE-TIME Jobsite/Facility Audit

We've had many clients who have contracted us to perform a one-time safety audit of their workplace safety program, employee’s scope of work, or perform a Job Hazard Analysis of a specific risky task or procedure.

Our clients are provided with detailed reports of the audit and any potential hazards, unsafe work practices, and regulatory violations observed. We also provide recommendations for corrective actions, safer job procedures, and any regulatory compliant safety programs and training software needed.

MONTHLY Jobsite/Facility Audits

Monthly safety audits will be provided to clients under an annual contract plan. Safety audits can be conducted at any of the client's workplaces and/or project jobsites. Detailed reports are always provided and include any potential hazards, unsafe work practices and regulatory non-compliance violations observed.

BONUS!  All annual contract clients are provided any of our more than 180 safety programs and training compliance software products FREE of charge. Now that's a fantastic savings!

Not being prepared for a safety compliance audit is NOT AN OPTION

It is tempting to ignore the potential for an OSHA inspection. Unfortunately, this can mean putting off the necessary safety compliance audit until it’s too late. OSHA has fined companies millions of dollars for non-compliance. Don’t let your business be one of them!

Over the years, Americana Safety's workplace safety compliance audits have saved businesses millions of dollars in potential safety violation penalties and kept their business reputations and future intact.

Reactive Safety vs. Proactive Safety

Reactive Safety

When management loses focus on its true core values and emphasizes a reactive approach to workplace safety and health, it sends two distinct negative messages to their employees:

  • We don't care about you; and
  • It's all about the bottom line, not your safety

Therefore, the company places most of its energy and resources into reacting to accidents after they occur. Such a reactive approach assumes that accidents merely happen, and that there's really nothing that can be done about it.

Subsequently, these reactive safety programs tend to incur costs that are much greater than proactive programs because they aren't implemented until a workplace injury or illness has occurred.

Pro-Active Safety

A proactive approach emphasizes accident prevention: Doing whatever is necessary to ensure accidents never happen in their facility or on their job site.

A proactive response to safety in the workplace occurs before an accident occurs. It is designed to anticipate and prevent accidents by emphasizing accident prevention.

Proactive strategies are far less expensive than reactive strategies because the company makes investments that result in potentially huge returns.

By implementing a well-structured safety program emphasizing a proactive approach to accident prevention, management can truly send a credible message of caring to all of its employees.
